Where can I look for jobs in my local area?

I want a job to earn a little cash, dont really care what kind of job, possibly in a shop or restaurant. Im 17.
Where can I look for jobs in my local area?
Ask - walk about - take a chance - go into every shop , resturaunt, fast food place, go to local hotels (they always need staff) and just ask

Reply:make a good cv up, you can make them look good even if you have limited experience, with a little help from the internet. then visit all places you fancy drop in your cv and follow up with phone calls, good luck!!

Reply:Write to all the local places you want to work, ask them if they would consider you if a position came up in the future. Visit your local job centre and speak to an advisor. Put an ad up offering your work, put it in shop windows, noticeboards, local papers etc
