Looking for job possibilities in the greater Orlando, Florida area?

I will be transitioning out of Active Duty Army. My final out date is not until June, but I wanted to get a jump start on a new job. I will be moving to Kissimmee, FL which is in the greater Orlando area. I am looking for some good job possibilities in that area. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This is the Orlando Sentinel newspaper serving the greater Orlando area, you can search by a specific city or click on one of the categories for all job listings, they also have where you can post your resume and receive email alerts about jobs.

Reply:In Kissimmee you'll be near all the Disney tourist area related businesses. So that would be a good start, especially since Disney World hires more employees for the summer season.





Other than that, the Orlando job market is very tight. There's a lot of people out there looking for jobs.





You should contact some Veteran groups to see if they have any job placement assistance.

walmart - hiring freeze





disney - only hiring certain fields





Universal - same as disney





avaiable jobs may be McDonalds. or some fast food restaurants.

Live here. Know that there are no jobs. The hospitals may be hiring some housekeepers and food service workers. Not sure though.
