What is the best way to look for jobs in Australia?

I've been looking on craigslist %26amp; gumtree for jobs/housing. I'm finding success in the housing part of my search, but not so much in the jobs part. Anybody know of a better job web site....specializing in hospitality would be a plus!

They specialize in hospitality jobs, including cleaners/kitchenhands for the mines in Western Australia. It depends on which state you are living in... but I would sign up to agencies INTEGRATED, Hays, Skilled Recruitment and Hudson - go to www.whitepages.com.au for local contact numbers (I'd provide them for you but don't know where you are)





Time are definitely tough at the moment in our current economic climate, so if you can, try and hand out your CV to local cafes/restaurants/bars/catering companies/cleaning companies... depending on what you are looking for. A lot of local companies are cutting down on using agencies to save the fees, and by handing out your CV you are increasing the chances of gaining employment.
