I don鈥檛 think I have a bad resume, because I always get interviews when applying through mail. But when it comes to applying through the web, I have never gotten a interview, does anyone of you have this experience? Also, why does only employment agency respond so quickly for potential interviews? I mean there鈥檚 always seem so much hope when talking to an employment agency when looking for jobs.
Back luck looking for jobs on the web.?
I know many people, plus myself, who have landed interviews and jobs by applying over the web.
Is your resume web-ready? Some sites need text format only, and if your resume isn't formatted for text-only, it can really look bad to a HR person reviewing it. Even submitting a Word doc could have formatting issues. If possible, you should try and make an Adobe Acrobat file (pdf) out of your resume and submit that. Of course, that means having access to Adobe Acrobat (not Adobe Reader).
Reply:dont worry, lots of times a job gets advertised and its gone but whoe ever runs the site has not updated it.you could be in a back log.
