Are graduates today are very choosy when looking for jobs?

Absolutely. Undergrads unfortunately are given this false hope once they graduate they will secure a position starting at 60K a year. Sorry sweetie. Unless you graduated from a top tier school unlikely to happen. Graduates (masters) whom I have interviewed as young as 25 have the same expectation (always about money.) Again sorry. Wonderful you have a degree, but where is the work experience? What grads fail to realize is school is merely a foundation that also gives you a better edge in securing employment. Work experience is something you will not learn during your studies and one should not expect to walk through the corporate doors expecting middle management salary. Leave the arrogance at the door.

nah mate ...im one example.....but still i cant get a part-time or fulltime job thats related to what i done at uni...im an accounting graduate....im in financial hardship and i would take whatever job offer comes first....

why are those bosses or recruitment agencies require experienced people to fill those entry-level jobs ? whos gona offer us entrylevel experience then ? dang it

im only after 25 k pa for my first fulltime
Reply:Depends on what their finances can afford. They don't have to take the first offer if they have money to live off of. But if the rent is do, choosy-ness diminishes.
